The Network Studio was built by a group of industry professionals who realized a lot could be done to make the entertainment business more accessible to new comers!
Over the past 3 years, The Network has given thousands of actors the opportunity to work with and learn from Casting Directors, Producers and Agents. The Network Studio's Youth Division was started as a way for young adults 25 and under and kids ages 7 and up to get an early jumpstart on the competition by networking with industry professionals. As actors ourselves, we realize that this industry can only be conquered if you know the right people. We understand the struggles that actors and their parents go through when starting out. The Network is a place where you can go and learn about the industry and the process by the people who can hire you. The Network offers children's workshops with casting directors. These kids' classes are invaluable for parents and young adults who are looking to get started in the acting industry, and for the more advanced young actor looking to further their career. We pride ourselves on individual attention to your wants and needs, and helping you meet the right people to learn how to book your next acting job. It's not your usual acting class- workshops are a way to bypass sending out headshots and resumes blindly through mass mailings. Instead, your headshot and resume get directly into the casting director's hand. The format of most of our workshops is a question and answer period with the casting director (for parents AND kids, as well as the young adults here on their on!), followed by one on one time where the actor performs a prepared scene that was given to them ahead of time. The casting director will workshop the scene with the actor, giving readjustments and advice. At the end, each actor is given a written evaluation based on their performance, so the actor leaves with knowledge of what the casting director thought, as well as what they liked and what the actor needs to improve on.
